Dear Herpa-Fan,

the last trade fair of the year, for which Herpa had planned to participate, also fell victim to the coronavirus pandemic. From October 30 through November 1, 2020, “Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen” (“Fascination model building”) was to take place this year, for the first time together with the “International Model Railways Exhibition” (IMA). However, in view of the continuing rise in the number of Covid-19 infections, the trade fairs were cancelled entirely for this year.

Herpa had planned a lavishly imprinted model of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter “Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen / IMA” for the trade fair, which features a view of the city of Friedrichshafen on one side, and the IMA logo with an old steam locomotive on the other. Herpa now offers this limited-edition model for only 12,50 euros in its online shop. Delivery while stocks last.
