herpa starts the upcoming year with many attractive new releases. Still in December, the last model by Andreas Schubert from the Tegernsee, the new semitrailer by Trucker Babe Christina Scheib, as well as some special items in the field of passenger cars will be delivered. In the months of January and February, Herpa will add the new type Simca 1301 Special, the Volkswagen Crafter, the MAN TGE with a low roof, and a food truck body for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. In the truck sector, further models based on attractive originals from the Netherlands, Italy, and other countries will be added to the new releases. An attractive package at the beginning of the year, with something for everyone’s taste.

The Wings releases planned for January/February reflect the latest developments in aviation. Due to the low degree of utilization of wide-body aircraft in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, many airlines are prematurely retiring their older jumbo jets, including their largest operator, British Airways. At the end of the 747-400 era for the British airline, Herpa releases its first jumbo jet from 1973 in the 1/500 scale. This year, Cargolux celebrates its fiftieth birthday with a special livery, and Herpa congratulates with its miniature counterpart.
