Dear Herpa-Fan,
both old and new classics mark the Cars & Trucks releases program towards the end of this year. The fortieth anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz G-model is the occasion for a new edition of the G-class in a short and open first-generation version. In addition, the tail fin (W110) is a new classic from Mercedes-Benz, which was already presented at this year’s International Toy Fair. The truck segment is supplemented by the new log transporter modeled after the original of Doll Fahrzeugbau GmbH, which can piggyback its trailer by means of the new Hiab loading crane when empty. Other new types, such as the new MAN TGX GM and a new trough in front of the four-axle tipper, complete the Cars & Trucks range. In the military sector, a new body for the Iveco Trakker joins the Collection.
Eagerly awaited Wings models
Many collectors have long been asking for Frontier Airlines models. The US low-cost carrier has most of all made an international name for itself by the outstanding liveries of its fleet. With the new 1/200-scale type of the Ilyushin IL-18 already presented at the International Toy Fair, Balkan Bulgarian Airlines will also be joining the Wings Collection. The USAF C-5 Galaxy is also released in the 1/200 scale. The resin model is equipped with General Electric TF39 engines, and features the original white-grey paint scheme. In the 1/72 scale, Herpa will release the Aero L-29 Delfin, a model of the legendary Czech training aircraft. The model will simultaneously appear in three livery versions. True to the last detail and as an authentic recreation in the 1/500 scale, the well-known hexagon of Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport will extend our series of cardboard construction kits. In addition to the cardboard sheets and small high-quality plastic components for the passenger boarding bridges, the set includes an elaborately detailed base board, as well as detailed assembling instructions.
