Volvo FH Gl. interchargable box trailer "Dreier" (CH)
Almost from the start, shortly after its foundation back in 1905, the company concentrated on nation-wide and international transportation. Today, next to the more than 400 employees, over 230 trucks and 500 swap bodies are in use every day. This swap trailer truck with the current Volvo tractor is part of the fleet. A partial quantity of this Swiss exclusive model is now available through the Herpa brand shop.

|  | | The Herpa Christmas market | .jpg) | Just a few weeks to go before the beginning of the Advent season and many Christmas surprises at the Herpa Christmas market.
As in 2014, the Herpa Christmas market will now be open a full three weeks. Every day from November 28 to December 23, 2015, the little Christmas village in the Museum Shop will feature new rarities, special models and specialties for collectors, tinkerers and rebuilders.
Take advantage of one of the four Advent holidays for a trip to the new Herpa Museum in Dietenhofen along with your friends and the entire family.

U.S. Marine Corps Bell/Boeing MV-22B Osprey - VMM-264 “Black Knights”
In advance of the official announcement of our March/April new releases, you can now pre-order the first item of this package, our model of the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 264 – the “Black Knights”. Following the high demand for our first two Osprey models, we are now developing the second MV-22 of a regular operational squadron of the Marines. As with its predecessors, the “Black Knights” model sports additional features such as the exchangeable loading ramp or the optional assembly of the refueling probe in its retracted or extended state. | | | Model railroad exhibition Senden |  | On November 27, 2015, the hearts of model railway fans will be faster in Ulm Senden - for the 17th model railway exhibition at Möbel Inhofer, over 2,000 square meters of the furniture store were turned into a giant playground for young and old. About 110 trains on 32 large displays of all tracks are permanently on tour - Herpa also participates with a diorama exhibition. Also provided by the Modellbahnfreunde Senden will be tips and tricks around model building and model railways. The exhibition is open from November 27, 2015, to January 5, 2016, Monday through Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. >> More information you can find here |
| | The model railway day 2015 |  | December 2, 2015, is all about model railways. On that day and the following weekend, the Bund der Deutschen Eisenbahnerfreunde (BDEF) has initiated the model railway day to promote the little fascinating worlds. The Herpa Museum participates in this event day and opens the special exhibition rooms for model railroaders who always wanted to display their model railways or dioramas - which are usually in the basement or attic - in a museum.
That's how it's done:
Send photos and the dimensions of your arrangement together with a small presentation to dennis.daenschel@herpa.de (information by phone at +49-9824-951-278). Until November 20, 2015, a jury together with the Herpa model railways experts and DER MASS:STAB editor in chief Oliver Kaschel will pick the participants presenting at the Herpa Museum from December 2, 2015. Not only associations but also small model railroader groups or model railroaders or model building families who want to present their arrangements in public are eligible to participate.
The model railway arrangements will be displayed from December 2, 2015 until January 5, 2016 at the latest in the Herpa Museum in Dietenhofen and we would like to invite all interested visitors and fans. |
