Summer begins in sporting fashion! At the Geneva International Motor Show the new Audi R8 was premiered, which Herpa had developed in the 1/87 scale parallel with Audi – just like the VW Touareg. They are both released in noticeably more detail than their predecessors. A model in the 1/43 scale is scheduled to follow.
The modification of the Citroen 2CV is certainly a highlight, not just for collectors but also for model railway fans: The “Duck” was often expanded by a box on the trunk.
Besides many attractive models and highlights, a new kind of storage will be available in July: Herpa now also offers its popular showcases in silver. And then there’s the series of the heavy-load LR1600/2 caterpillar crane, which is enhanced by two more transport variants.
Meanwhile, the badly-kept secret of Lufthansa’s new retro plane, a Boeing 747 in the livery of the 1980s, is up and flying. In contrast, a highlight of airplane history in the plane of Playboy founder Hugh Heffner, which took to the skies with unbelievable extravagance for the 1960s under its succinct bunny logo. Finally, for all fans of 1/200 scale airplanes Herpa premieres a printed 100 x 50 cm diorama board for the 1/200 scale.

| New Herpa Wings Archive DVD 2015 now available | Tidy up your collection. With the Herpa Archive DVD, you’ll receive the complete overview of all Herpa Wings models, that have been produced until April 2015.
It is an ideal amendment for organizing your collection, not only as a work of reference, but also as a data base for your own models. In „own collection“ you can enter – next to the available photo and date – personal information like place of storage, purchase date, or an own picture.

Exclusively for the fair Intermodellbau, Herpa presents a Mercedes-Benz Actros Gigaspace SLT heavy duty rigid tractor "DB Schenker" (EUR 24,50) as well as a MAN M90 chassis with load handling system "Dortmund fire department" (EUR 29,50) in a special Intermodellbau box.
From April 15 through 19, 2015, the Herpa fair team will present the new releases and prototypes of 2015.
