HERPA TAKES OVER OXFORD AVIATION
British Aviation models become part of the Herpa distribution family

Dear Herpa-Fan,

Right on time for the beginning of the 2015/2016 model season, the Herpa distribution family welcomes a new member! The model manufacturer from Dietenhofen, Franconia, has taken over distribution of the British manufacturer Oxford for the entire European area (except Great Britain).

Oxford is the leading British manufacturer of miniature models in the die cast area. Herpa has currently taken over the range of die cast airplane models in the 1/72 scale.

The assortment ranges from early WWI airplanes and 20th century military airplane history, to technology from the post-war era. Furthermore, the collection is complemented by historic civilian airplane models as well.

There are two specifications for the fans of these historic airplanes. With the Aviation Series we offer very detailed models at favorable entry level prices. All models are delivered with a display stand with information of the big original's history and its pilot printed on.

Genuine enthusiasts get their money's worth with the "History of Flight" series. Next to finest prints based on the original's manufacturer documents the models also feature rotating propellers and other details. On the biplanes, even the tensioning wires of the wings are rendered.

Currently available Oxford models will already be available in retail by the end of August.
