Mercedes-Benz Actros Gigaspace SLT heavy duty rigid traktor "DB Schenker"
The internationally operating logistics and forwarding company was established by Gottfried Schenker in 1872. In 1931 it was taken over by the former German Reichsbahn and was also owned by the German Bundesbahn after WWII until the Stinnes AG took over the majority of shares in 1991. In 2002 the majority of the Stinnes AG was in turn taken over by the Deutsche Bahn AG. Today, Schenker is part of the DB AG’s transport and logistics department. The Schenker group employs almost 55,500 people at about 1,500 locations worldwide. A partial edition of the latest Intermodellbau fair model is now also available from the Herpa brands shop.This Air Berlin Boeing 737-800 was produced for one of our retailers, featuring the interim livery with which the airline operated from December 2007 to December 2012. A partial edition of this exclusive model is now also available from the Herpa brands shop.

|  | | Visit the Herpa Museum in Dietenhofen |  | Small models, big surprises: in the World of Motion museum in Dietenhofen, Germany, we show you the great variety of products we have manufactured from the early days in 1978. Enjoy the fascination of our models on more than 400 square meters of exhibition space featuring various collection themes, sample models, and large dioramas for fans of vehicles and airplanes. You have always wanted to know how a Herpa model is manufactured? Our museum has a multimedia area, and you can get an impression of what it takes to produce an airplane and a truck model, from the first plans and sketches to the shipping of the finished models. After such an interesting tour, we suggest you complete your visit to our museum with a tour around our shop, which also carries special models and last supplies of models sold out long ago.
