A highlight of the vehicles of the East range is the Trabant’s predecessor, the “AWZ P70”, released as a sedan and station wagon. Meanwhile, the collector’s fleet of modern vehicle is enhanced by the Audi Q7 and in the 1/43 scale, by a Passat Variant and the BMW M4 Coupé with moveable tailgate and hood respectively. Truck fans shouldn’t miss the new Volvo FH heavy load rigid tractor and many other individual collector’s items like the Johnny Cash truck.
Caterpillar crane in second stage of expansion:
The Liebherr caterpillar crane LR 1600/2 enters its second stage of expansion. The derrick boom is to be subsequently released on six additional semitrailers. This expansion stage is scheduled to be completed by September 2015.
New military models for Herpa “Military”
The GTK Boxer is the first newly developed military vehicle from Herpa, simultaneously heralding the beginning of a new Herpa era.
All military models will henceforth be distributed under the Herpa sub-brand “Military” – like the “Snap-Fit” models in the airplane range.
| | Airbus A350 and vertical take-off planes
Designed as a successor to the A330- and A340 families, the A350 is going to compete against Boeing’s somewhat smaller 787 Dreamliner and the 777, and is premiered in Airbus colors in the 1/500 scale. Especially fascinating for its technology is the V-22 – a vertical take-off plane which has meanwhile established itself in the US military. The model of the hybrid airplane / helicopter impresses with details like adjustable engines and a exchangeable tailgate.
