Dear Herpa-Fan,
Just a little over one week is left to the Herpa Open House at Herpa headquarters in Dietenhofen.
This time around, the annual get-together of the Herpa community will be bigger than ever. Next to a tour through production and further activities in and round our facilities, additional manufacturers from the model hobby business will also be on-sight in the “activity park”. The model car company Brekina, as well as the model train brands Märklin, Roco, Fleischmann and Liliput will be displaying for the first time. The accessory specialists from Noch, Auhagen and Faller will also present their product ranges and can answer any questions you might have. Experience the new production tour and participate in producing a Herpa model.
Take part in the model conversion contest and win neat prizes, truck and car tours and marvel at the many dioramas and self-made creations of our model builders.
The Playboy DC-9 “Big Bunny” will premiere at the Open House Day – presented in proper style by the Playmates Verena Stangl and Laura Kaiser (autographs on the model boxes are possible). In addition to various rare and exclusive models, aviation fans can expect a very special guest this year: Europe’s only airworthy Lockheed L-1049 will be paying a fly-by-visit over Dietenhofen before landing at nearby Nuremberg Airport. Have a look at the latest installment of Herpa TV for more details on the Conny at the Open House Day:

Of course, the museum and our museum shop will be open as well and plenty of food and beverages will be available throughout the day. Again in this year, you can have your photo printed onto a customized truck model (please note: we cannot process data from USB sticks or discs – please bring along your photo or have your picture taken by our photographer.)
