Dear Herpa-Fan,
with its new releases for IAA Commercial Vehicles, Herpa is ready to welcome this year's model autumn. Both the new Scania CS20 tractor and the MAN TGE van were introduced there, and while the latter is premiered with the new releases in January and February 2017, various variants of the new Scania are already available among our Autumn Specials. Simultaneously with the presentation of the new Scania, the manufacturer is celebrating its 125th anniversary. To mark the occasion, an anniversary trailer is released as a collector’s series of various tractor variants.
BMW History Edition and other new types
With this History Edition, Herpa honors its long-term cooperation with six highlight vehicle models in a special box including an editorial supplement. New in the Herpa range is the facelift of the Audi Q5 and Audi A6 as well as the L32 Metz turntable ladder, which is premiered with a Mercedes-Benz Econic cab among these new releases. A small new type is the so-called “Longhandler” grip tongs for the Liebherr wheel loader with which logs can be loaded.
Herpa now in the 1/50 scale
The first two models in our new 1/50 scale are a historic Scania 112 curtain-canvas semitrailer from the TV-series “Auf Achse” and a current model of a tough MAN TGS semitrailer from the forwarder Geiger. Reserve your requisition early! Already introduced in summer 2016 at the ILA in Berlin, the new Antonov AN-178 military transporter is premiered in the 1/200 scale. Back in the same scale is the Airbus A380 manufactured from new molds, which were entirely revised technically. Besides the classic in Lufthansa livery, we also release two variants from Emirates Airlines. A Sabena model is certainly a historic highlight, being the first European airline to operate the Boeing 707. Its modern counterpart is also represented: The United Airlines Boeing 777-300, which is set to become the new flagship in the fleet.
Sincerely,
Your Herpa team
