Dear Herpa-Fan,
These days, you won't find a well-preserved "Bulli" for less than 10,000 Euros - the legendary VW bus was the first in a long line of versions of the successful transporter. Herpa presents the meanwhile 6th edition of the "Bulli" as a new type, as both kombi and multi-van, with the new releases for November / December. Brand new is also the latest Audi R8 Spyder with the front adapted to the new Audi family design and modified engine bay. Herpa kicks off a new collectors' series with the Dutch heavy-load company Bolk, which little by little transports an entire wind turbine with various heavy load transports to its installation site.
Utterly fascinating for collectors and model railroaders is the Junkers Ju-52 of the Swiss brewery "Falken", which is released in combination with a semitrailer of the brewery in the 1/160 scale. Meanwhile, the Junkers F.13 from the era II, which flew with the name "Nightingale" at the former Deutsche Luft Hansa from 1926 onwards, would be perfectly suited to a model railway or showcase. Further "must haves" in this model brochure are a winter services vehicle for model building, the current Melmer silo semitrailer and the redesigned tractor of the World History truck "Romans".
In time for the Christmas season, friends of Wings can look forward to the Christmas plane from Air Berlin, which is delivered in both the 1/500 and 1/200 scale. On board Eurowings "team airbus", the successful German side BVB has been travelling to its Champions League games in style this season. It is released in the scales 1/500 and 1/200, and as low-cost Snap-Fit model. Additional highlights, besides the MD-11 classic in LTU livery, is the "Fanhansa" plane with which the German national team flew to its Euro 2016 games, the anniversary plane of Cargolux and a Malaysian Airlines plane in a retro livery of the 1970s.
