Visit the Herpa museum in Dietenhofen
Now even more exhibitions and exhibits

Dear Herpa-Fan

Just before the beginning of the model building season, the new miniature museum revolving around model building, model vehicles and model airplanes reopens its doors in Dietenhofen. On over 400 square meters, model manufacturer Herpa displays the history of model building but also many miniature landscapes for the entire family.

Since the early 1990s, the Herpa Museum team has been welcoming visitors from near and far at company headquarters in Dietenhofen, Central Franconia. The original 30 square meter exhibition space containing the odd model showcase or two has long since become a genuine museum. After the last improvements in 2006, all rooms have been completely revised.

In general, the newly designed museum area provides a deeper insight into the production of Herpa models. Besides many new miniature landscapes the airplane area has been further expanded as well. In the new museum, Herpa Wings fans can now see the individual new types of the past years and the history of Herpa's airplane models is also told in detail. One welcome addition is a special exhibition area in which associations or other model manufacturers have a chance to present themselves.

Christmas market with new rarities and special models every day
Also new is Herpa's traditional Christmas market: This year it will begin on November 30, 2013, and remain open until December 23, 2013. Every day it opens, both museum visitors and store customers can expect new special models, individual pieces for tinkerers and various events. It is certainly worthwhile stopping by, several times, over the Christmas season.
