Mercedes-Benz Actros Streamspace chemical tank semitrailer "Bay"

Since its foundation back in 1945 by Julius Bay and the takeover by the Schaaf Family in 1975, Bay has transformed itself into a specialist in domestic and international tank and silo transportation. With a fleet of more than 500 vehicles (containers and trucks), more than 600,000 tons are moved by rail, on water, or traditionally on roads each year. The main focus lies in the fields of chemical and petrochemical products, construction and raw materials, as well as agricultural goods. This chemical tank semitrailer is also part of the fleet, now available in a partial quantity through the Herpa Brand Shop.

Visit the Herpa Museum in Dietenhofen

Small models, big surprises: in the World of Motion museum in Dietenhofen, Germany, we show you the great variety of products we have manufactured from the early days in 1978.

Enjoy the fascination of our models on more than 400 square meters of exhibition space featuring various collection themes, sample models, and large dioramas for fans of vehicles and airplanes.

You have always wanted to know how a Herpa model is manufactured? Our museum has a multimedia area, and you can get an impression of what it takes to produce an airplane and a truck model, from the first plans and sketches to the shipping of the finished models.

After such an interesting tour, we suggest you complete your visit to our museum with a tour around our shop, which also carries special models and last supplies of models sold out long ago.

Herpa museum's opening hours:

Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attention:
Due to the inventory, our Herpa shop will be closed until March 21, 1013.
