The model building summer will be hot: Additionally to the already announced new releases, Herpa will present a very special model this summer – the new SCANIA R 2013. Just introduced, model of the “First Edition” of the new Swedish rigid tractor will be delivered to retailers as early as July. Also fresh from the design department is a new trailer generation – along with the Kempf Stöffel Liner, we release a completely redesigned tipper trailer combined with the rare Scania Hauber. For autumn, you should also already preorder the new Audi A3 sedan which was developed based on the original plans and in cooperation with Audi. Additional new types are the new warning device as used with the Wolga M24 and a new transport container.
Addition to the heavy load caterpillar crane set
After the two caterpillar pieces, Herpa now presents the center coach and first dead weights featuring the design of Wasel Krane. For those who missed the first stage of construction, we recommend the parallel series of the heavy load company “Felbermayr” which will begin with the caterpillar parts in autumn. Until mid-2014, you will be able to collect all parts to assemble this giant model crane.
New series: Nok-Air
Herpa Wings begins a three-turn in the 1/200 scale. In autumn, the first of three especially colorful Saab 340s will be released, with the originals flying for the Thai airline Nok-Air. Resulting from the great demand for Schiphol airport as building set, you can now order the matching airport busses in KLM design and fans of 1/500 airplanes have already been waiting for the first Airbus A380, released in British Airways colors.

MAN TGA XXL curtain canvas semitrailer "Kurz"
The special forwarder Kurz starts its tours from near Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg. That is no surprise since the region around the little town Schlierbach is known for machine construction. Originally, this model was produced exclusively for one of our eXtra partners but a partial edition is now also available from the Herpa trademark shop. A very special collectors’ item: next to chrome-plated rims and process-color printing on the box, even tiniest details like the license plates were printed. Furthermore, the model is delivered with top headlamps and signal lamps.

Show us your hidden talents, and present your best piece at our redesigned open house event.
On July 6, 2013, we will display your diorama together with all other entries, and the audience will choose the most convincing miniature landscapes among them all. The first three place-getters will receive shopping vouchers valued at up to 250 Euros - while among those turning in appraisals, we will raffle three shopping vouchers of 25 Euros each.
