November 9th is the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Immediately afterwards, many former GDR citizens exchanged their Trabi for a new Golf. This anecdote was the inspiration for a mini diorama on the period. Also unforgotten are the images of our national team being welcomed back in Berlin. After the great success of the "Siegerflieger", and at the request of Mercedes-Benz, we are also able to offer a small special edition of the "Siegertruck" in the 1/87 scale.
With the January /February new releases we present new types like the Audi TT Roadster and the Passat as well as the VW Polo in the 1/43 scale. These models are joined by some historic highlights like an MAN-SÜ railway bus or the Barkas TT featuring an "Interflug" design. Moreover, after a long break, the forwarder "Riwatrans" is back better than ever, while truck fans can look forward to a new showtruck of the forwarder Godelmann.
Meanwhile, leading up to Christmas, the Herpa-Wings diorama set "Amsterdam Airport" is expanded by Pier G – and furthermore, airplane fans can look forward to attractive models like a Pan Am jetliner featuring a special livery, a member of Brazil’s Azul Airlines growing fleet, and a new type in the shape of the Grumman E-2C Hawkeye reconnaissance plane.

From October 23 to 26, 2014, everything in Vienna centers on game playing, model building and hobbies. Herpa will be at the Model Fair as well and will present the new VW Passat, Metz aerial ladder L32A-XS as well as the new MAN TGX Euro 6 heavy duty rigid tractor.
Members of our Clubs will get a 10% fair discount when shopping at the stand - furthermore, we would like to treat you to a Club drink when presenting your membership card.

| | HCC model of the year 2014 is already delivered |

Somewhat surprising for all club members, we delivered the model of the year 2014 already in October. Shortly before we started delivery in October, both models (car and truck) had been finished in time so that we decided to include these items still in October, although we could because of this short-term decision not include a hint in our letter to the club members or in the magazine. However, in our opinion it was more important not to hold the models back for two months because of a missing hint and we caught that missing information up with this message now.
There is one further remark to the truck: we left the fantasy-design line which we used for several years and will produce truck club models in accordance with the originals during the next years; we will start with a truck of the forwarder “Wirtz”. The decision for this new policy was made at the request of our club members.
