New Releases March / April 2020 now online
New dimensions in model building

Dear Herpa-Fan,

Herpa starts the New Year at full steam. The focus of the new Cars & Trucks releases is on the MB Sprinter from 2018 – now also available with a double cabin, and the previous version with a single cabin is also available with a body for parcel delivery services.

Another novelty among the Cars & Trucks is the new AMG rim for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

New at Herpa: the models of the very detailed “Modellbau Schwarz” series. The enthusiast from North Rhine-Westphalia develops extremely sophisticated rare pieces in the 1/87 scale, which Herpa is now realizing in terms of production technology. The series is kicked off with the LB76 front control unit presented in 1963 as the 2a/2a box semitrailer truck of the forwarding company Wandt, and the 2a/2a canvas semitrailer truck of Sweden’s Bilspedition, to which Herpa supplies matching semitrailers. This series will be continued in irregular intervals with further model versions as well as new model types which are characterized by numerous individual parts. Please note that the models of the MBS series are sold at a net/net price.

The new Herpa Wings releases will be dedicated to the round anniversaries that many airlines are currently celebrating. Colombia’s Avianca is the world’s oldest airline that can boast uninterrupted service. Herpa celebrates its centenary with a 1/500-scale model of a Boeing 707.

Australia’s Qantas also celebrates its 100th anniversary with a special livery to advertise the airline’s 100 years. Herpa presents this Boeing 787-9 in the 1/500 and 1/200 scales, and is also planning a small series of historic Qantas planes for the airline’s jubilee year 2020.

The Airbus A220-300 model of the “Lithuania” of airBaltic completes the series of the already released models of the A220 “Latvia” (533171) and “Estonia” (533942) featuring the national colors of the other two Baltic states.
