New Releases September / October 2018 now online
Summer will be hot - with lots of new types in all collectors' areas! | Dear Herpa-Fan
in fall the main season for collectors begins and as usual Herpa kicks off autumn with a raft of new releases for the months of September and October. Among the numerous new types and variants, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is a real highlight. For the original’s premiere in spring 2018, Mercedes-Benz received a special edition of the model with special features – now the model is released for retail in another color variant. Other new types are the “Avant” estate car of the new Audi A6, the MAN TGS M Euro 6 with platform and shortened winter service superstructure, as well as the facelifted current DAF XF.
It is also time to announce this year’s Christmas models. After a long break, Herpa once again releases a new Iveco vehicle in the program with the legendary Christmas truck, and the current XP cab is an all new type. Like all other Christmas models, the model will feature elaborate motifs printed via raster scan and golden rims, and will be delivered in our proven showcase with respective motif prints.
Meanwhile in the Wings sector, the Boeing 787-10 is releases in a Christmas outift. The once again enlarged Dreamliner variant was announced for the first time in the 1/500 scale at the end of last year, after the original had taken off for its maiden flight on March 31, 2017.
An especially appealing original is the Emirates Airbus A380 “United for Wildlife”. To support this merger of several animal conservation organizations, the airline designed this very appealing special livery for its two A380 jets. Six highly endangered animal species are extensively depicted on the fuselage of this model with which Emirates is seeking to raise awareness of the illegal animal trade.

Visit the Herpa fair stand at the 25th "Trucker & Country Festival" in Interlaken (CH).
From June 22 through 24, 2018, we look forward to welcoming you at the Airport Interlaken. In addition to the many domestic and international show-trucks, as well as numerous real-life oldtimers, a large assortment of miniature models.
Members of our clubs will be invited to a club drink and will get a discount of 10%.

Each Herpa-City set includes a building kit for a toy car made of metal as well as a building kit with a shop on the ground floor and apartment on the first floor which can be assembled in a few simple steps.
The enclosed road element can be combined with additional elements creating a compact row of houses. More information on Herpa City can be found at

| | | Big Herpa Open House |  | Visit the Open House on July 7, 2018, from 9am to 5pm at the premises of Herpa headquarters in Dietenhofen. Experience the new tour through Production and participate in the manufacturing of a Herpa model! Look forward with us to encountering many big names in the industry and to lots of great activities. Admission is free!
The Open House has meanwhile become a fixed date in the event calendar. About 7,000 visitors attend annually to look over the shoulders of our employees as they produce models, to experience the Showtrucks live, and to participate in the many activities while meeting others in the big Herpa Fan community.
