New releases News II 2025
Fascinating novelties on the ground and in the air

Dear Sirs and Madams,

the News II 2025 new products brochure once again contains numerous exciting models and new variants of vehicles and aircraft guaranteed to make collectors' hearts beat faster.

Cars & Trucks
The striking “El Patron” curtainsider semitrailer truck, with its stylized folding tailgate used for the first time on a semitrailer, is the new shape for News II. Another eye-catcher is the “MAN and WOMAN” twin tractor unit set in pink and light blue. And then, a special vehicle has been realized in the “King of Rhön” long timber transporter by Thorsten Eckert, who gained his fame from the asphalt cowboy on DMAX. Finally, the heavy-duty articulated truck from Mammoet and the silo articulated truck from Steinkühler complete the impressive transport fleet. In the passenger car sector, the VW Multivan in bi-color Candy White/Starlight Blue paintwork is sure to impress. The range is complemented by eye-catching new colors for BMW Alpina models and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in Solarbeam Yellow. There are also highlights for emergency vehicles: The VW ID.Buzz of the Porsche works fire department and the eye-catching fire engine of the Ratingen fire department underline the focus on innovation and technology. Lastly, the accessories segment is being expanded with new add-on parts and color variants for containers, and for the first time, tractor units and trailers in the N scale (1:160) are available in sets of two - ideal for individual combinations.

Wings
In terms of aircraft models, News II 2025 contains an impressive selection of new products that reflect the diversity and history of aviation. It all starts with the USAF KC-10 Extender, which is being released in a limited series and honors the end of the service life of this legendary tanker aircraft. Another highlight is the Boeing 757-300 from Icelandair. After years of waiting, there is finally a model of the stretched version of this medium-haul classic, here featuring special paintwork in Iceland’s national colors. The modern Airbus A350-900 is new for Edelweiss Air and Emirates; the aircraft type available from Herpa in various scales in these liveries to coincide with its entry into service with the airlines. Our package of new products is rounded off by the Royal Australian Air Force A330 MRTT/KC-30A Voyager. This tanker aircraft, based on the A330-200, impresses the discerning collector with its versatility and accurate detail, including its movable tank boom.
