Dear Herpa-Fan,
with this brochure, we present the new models planned for November 2024 to February 2025 in the Cars & Trucks segment. Meanwhile, as accustomed, the new Wings models are planned for the months of November and December 2024 only. These differing periods are the result of a planned change to the announcement of new releases as of 2025. For logistical reasons, we will no longer provide monthly information in future (as of 2025), but instead will provide a specific planned delivery date for each individual model. Nevertheless, the new product brochures will continue to be published bi-monthly.
Cars & Trucks
Lots of new shapes among the Cars & Trucks models. For example, the entire front section of the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class (W465) has been modernized in line with the prototype. The Multivan from VW is also a new 1:87 scale model - it is produced in the colors Pure Grey as a plain paint, and Energetic Orange Metallic. An explosion of new tractor units. The Mercedes-Benz Actros ProCabin is based on the Mercedes-Benz Actros with Gigaspace.cab and combustion engine in the colors white, blue, and red, and will be produced with new chassis cladding at the start of series production. The currently well-known Volvo FH GL XL 2020 Electric tractor unit appears with a completely new chassis and new chassis cladding. The Liebherr T60-95 telescopic handler, shown for the first time at the Nuremberg toy fair, is now ready for series production and will be produced with interchangeable attachments, a fork and a shovel.
Wings
Christmas motifs are very popular for aircraft models. Finnair has been presenting itself as the “Official Carrier of Santa Claus Land” since 1983 and every year repaints an aircraft from its fleet with a corresponding motif. Australia’s QantasLink Q400 “Dasher-8” shows a Christmas motif of a completely different kind. On this Christmas plane, which was first presented in December 2023, kangaroos pull Santa Claus' sleigh instead of the usual reindeer. The model with the unusual painting appears in the 1:500 and 1:200 scales. One more QantasLink model is undoubtedly a very special highlight among the current new products from Herpa Wings. The Balarinji design agency has already developed several unusual liveries for the Australian airline, which are based on motifs from Australia's indigenous peoples.
