Our new products from September to November 2024
Autumn in the Herpa collection means new colors and shapes

Dear Herpa-Fan,

with this brochure, we present the new models planned for September to November 2024 in the Cars & Trucks segment. Meanwhile, as accustomed, the new Wings models are planned for the months of September and October 2024 only. These differing periods are the result of a planned change to the announcement of new releases as of 2025. For logistical reasons, we will no longer provide monthly information in future (as of 2025), but instead will provide a specific planned delivery date for each individual model. Nevertheless, the new product brochures will continue to be published bi-monthly.

Cars & Trucks
Given we have new announcements for three months instead of the previous two, the current new releases for Cars & Trucks is more extensive. The VW ID.3 is finally on its way, appearing as a new model in Moonstone Gray and King’s-Red metallic. A few weeks after the first delivery of the VW Beetle 1303, we present the first special editions in the form of the “Yellow-and-Black Racer” and the “City”. As many as four TT models in the 1:120 scale are set to return in new colors. Other new molds include the VW Crafter with twin axles for civil defense, the Mercedes-Benz eActros tractor unit, and the new pallet and rear side boxes, which will be implemented on the Christmas model, among other trucks. In the commercial vehicle sector, numerous existing collector's series will be continued besides further skip loader models. In addition to the two Puch G-Classes of the Swiss Army and the Austrian Army, the military program is enriched by 10 and 20ft containers, ready for your own paint scheme. Besides that, our MiniKits are set to be complemented by the BMW M3 Coupé (46) and the VW Golf III VR6, as well as two high-roof transporter variants - the VW Crafter and MAN TGE - which will appear as new models with twin tires on the drive axle.

Wings
Christmas is coming to the Wings range as well. The design of this year's Christmas model, a Boeing 747LCF Dreamlifter, pays homage to the 75th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift and is reminiscent of the look of the so-called “raisin bombers” with its silver underside. The model is based on a revised version of the Boeing wide-body freighter with an interchangeable tailgate that can be displayed either open or closed. Incidently, Herpa is celebrating its 75th birthday, as reflected in the historical logo on the Christmas model and in the 1:500, 1:200, and 1:100 scale models of the German Airways Embraer E190, which is currently flying in Herpa livery. Other Wings highlights in the 1:500 scale are the Boeing 777-300ER in the modernized Emirates colors and the Transavia Airbus A321neo, with which the Dutch airline completed its switch from Boeing to Airbus in 2023.
