New Releases March / April 2019 now online | Dear Herpa-Fan, Herpa’s new releases for March/April 2019 come in a completely new look. We have modernized the design of our new releases sheets, as we want to make our models even more attractive by offering additional illustrations of the originals, among other things. One of the top models for spring is undoubtedly the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Herpa introduced the car type in 2018, which will now be visually enhanced by the new Brabus rim, especially manufactured for the G-Class. With this new type, Herpa has also been launching a passenger car model in a PC display case for a long time. The model of the Mercedes-Benz Actros StreamSpace 2.3, which comes with a replica of the integrated rear view camera, is also being given a facelift. Even the monitors of the two cameras inside the vehicle are displayed in the 1/87 scale.
In the Wings range, Lufthansa’s fleet is now gradually being equipped with the new paint scheme, true to the originals. The Airbus A350-900 with the new livery will be available in two scales and as a SnapFit model; also the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental will be released with the new colors. The Boeing 787-10 is a new 1/200-scale type. The longest version of the Dreamliner will come out in the manufacturer’s company paint scheme. The so-called Jelly Beans paint scheme of the legendary Braniff International Airways offers numerous attractive originals for models. Since the mid-1960s, the US airline, which went bankrupt in 1982, had used this much contemporary design, painting the aircraft with various striking solid colors. After two Braniff models in Jelly Beans colors were released in 2012, we will continue the series with the BAC-1-11 in the 1/500 scale, in ochre and turquoise, and with the Convair CV-340 in the 1/200 scale with the livery introduced in 1964. The Bombardier Q400 will come out with the new paint scheme of the Australian Qantas, and models of several regional companies will be added to the collection. >> To the new releases brochures Sincerely, Your Herpa team | | | New eXtra releases at the Herpa trademark shop |
