New Releases January / February 2018 now online
Brand new in the Herpa's mold department is the Airbus A350-1000

Dear Herpa-Fan

the popular "Herpa presents series" is back. Together with airbrush artist Walter Rosner and the brewery Pyraser, the 15th Herpa Showtruck has been on Europe's roads for weeks now, and is already being delivered in miniature form with the Specials of autumn 2017. Also back in town is the Reachstacker, with which containers can be moved on model railways. Please remember to stock the respective conversion platelets as well. Interesting for collectors and model builders alike is the continuation of the "Optional Extras". You can decide themselves whether they prefer the fully equipped versions with highly-detailed prints, or the more affordable Minikit variant.

Of course, you'll find other interesting new releases items, and the Showtruck highlights, in this new releases brochure - like the elaborately painted tractor of Mike Terpe. An insider tip for all fans of the forwarder Wandt is provided by the editorial team of "DER MASS:STAB" - with an anniversary edition for the 100th Wandt model, background information on the forwarding company, the collecting phenomenon, plus all Herpa models provided on 16 pages.

Brand new in the Herpa's mold department is the Airbus A350-1000, which is premiered as new type with the new releases January / February 2018. In contrast, two genuine classics are released in the shape of the Lufthansa 707-400 in the typical livery of the 1960s and the Pan Am A310-200. Meanwhile, 1/200 scale airplane model devotees can look forward to an expansion of the accessories range. Now a matching tower with base boards is available, complementing existing boards already available.

Lufthansa Boeing – pocket size

Exclusively for Club members: aviation tags from the Lufthansa Boeing 747-430 “Baden-Württemberg”’s vertical tail.

More than ten years ago, the two aviation enthusiasts Stephan Boltz and Valentin Hartmann had a very special recycling idea:

Their company called boardbar converted discarded airplane trolleys into functional design furniture.

Their success and their global network among the aviation industry they had developed brought them to another step: alongside the in-flight trolleys, they also developed what they call aviation tags to offer discarded airplanes a kind of second life.

These are actually luggage or key tags made of the original metal of airplanes that were to be scrapped.

As a final finish, each piece gets an engraving featuring the aircraft type, the registration, and a drawing. With these details, the owner can register on a website, so in case of loss, he or she can be contacted by the finder.
