Record attandance in Dietenhofen
More than 7,500 truck enthusiasts at the Open House

Dear Herpa-Fan,

last weekend, Dietenhofen in Central Franconia became a Mecca for truck and model fans. Since 2006, Herpa has been welcoming fans at its Open House every year in July. What started out as simple factory tour has meanwhile become a big party for model and truck enthusiasts from all over Europe.

Next to a factory tour the visitors got to see a truck show with about 35 colorful showtrucks from all over Germany and enjoyed sightseeing tours with vintage vehicles.

Dioramas and rolling works of art
Especially families enjoyed the little miniature landscapes of the model builders displaying their works of art in various exhibitions.

Visit the Herpa Museum in Dietenhofen

Small models, big surprises: in the World of Motion museum in Dietenhofen, Germany, we show you the great variety of products we have manufactured from the early days in 1978.

Enjoy the fascination of our models on more than 400 square meters of exhibition space featuring various collection themes, sample models, and large dioramas for fans of vehicles and airplanes.

You have always wanted to know how a Herpa model is manufactured? Our museum has a multimedia area, and you can get an impression of what it takes to produce an airplane and a truck model, from the first plans and sketches to the shipping of the finished models.

After such an interesting tour, we suggest you complete your visit to our museum with a tour around our shop, which also carries special models and last supplies of models sold out long ago.
